Q. What is the difference between a vision exam and a medical exam?
A. A vision exam is a regular routine exam where one might expect to receive or renew a glasses or contacts prescription. A medical visit is a little less black and white. If you are diabetic, your eye exams are classified as medical. Other examples of a medical visit are: injury to the eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, conjunctivitis (pink eye), etc.
Q. What can I expect to pay if I am paying cash for glasses?
A. That depends on the frame you choose, but frames are generally expected to be $120 and upwards depending on extras. However, we also have a specials board, where you can obtain a complete pair (frame and lenses) of glasses at a significant discount.
